Linea Pro 4 and 5
The Linea Pro 4 and 5 are supported by multiple Gateways compatible with POS Lavu. These swipers have proven themselves as reliable with a sleek appearance.
This document will review methods of ensuring that the Linea Pro 4 or 5 are communicating correctly with the POS Lavu application.
If the POS Lavu application is communicating with the swiper, but issues persist, please contact Infinite Peripherals support at, your Gateway Support Line, or the company you purchased the swiper from.
Note The UPC (barcode) scanning capability of the Linea Pro 4 or 5 are supported by POS Lavu. please speak with a Lavu Certified Reseller about configuring this functionality in POS Lavu.
Note: Location’s utilizing the Linea Pro with Mercury payment Solutions should ensure that the Firmware of the swiper is not version 3.2.0. For instructions on how to check this, contact Infinite Peripherals Support.

** If the Credit Card Swiper is Properly Communicating with the POS Lavu App **
** (indicated by a Green Credit Card symbol on the Checkout Screen) **
**Lavu Support will be extremely limited in its troubleshooting abilities **

Checking Proper Communication Between Linea Pro and POS Lavu App:
** Ensure that the Linea Pro is fully charged prior to using the swiper! **
1. Launch the POS Lavu App.
2. Create an Order.
3. Take the Order to Checkout.
4. Plug the Linea Pro 4 or 5 into the 30 Pin or Lightning Port.
** The credit card icon located near the top right corner of the screen should turn from grey to green. If it does not, continue the steps below.
5. From the Checkout screen, tap Order (top right corner of the screen). Once on the order screen DO NOT change anything on the order, tap Checkout.
6. Unplug the swiper from the iPod.
7. Return to the Default View (Tables, Tabs, or Quickserve) in the POS Lavu App.
8. Tap the Lavu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
9. Tap “Exit Location”.
10. Tap “Yes”.
11. Tap “Exit”.
12. Once at the log-in screen of the POS Lavu App, press the iPod Home Button (the only physical button on the front face of the iPod) once. You should be at your iPod’s home screen.
13. Double tap the iPod Home Button (similar to double clicking a computer mouse).
14. Please read this entire step prior to performing the action: Force close all the open apps on the iPod.
